OUR SERVICE
Huaraz Treks and Climbs E.I.R.L. is an officially Registered Travel and Tourism Agency, with an office in Huaraz (Ancash region) and legally registered with SUNAT (Peru’s Tax Administration).
We offer fully supported hiking, trekking and climbing holidays, which basically means we do the work and you walk. We provide full support so all you have to carry is a daypack with whatever you require for that day’s walk. Our staff will also erect and take down the tents, cook, wash up and even supply bed tea in the mornings. This allows you plenty of free time to relax or explore your surroundings as you wish.
Huaraz Treks and Climbs is a local trekking and mountain climbing guide service that provides a caring, friendly, professional and above all safe trekking and climbing service at a fair price.
I lead the majority of treks myself; organize the logistics, accommodation, Huaraz and local staff etc.

GUIDES & SAFETY
We are qualified through the Peruvian Mountain Guides Association (AGMP). The AGMP is affiliated to the International Federation of Mountain Guides Association – UIAGM/IFMGA who governs mountain guiding worldwide. We all have strong first-aid skills and a wealth of local experience on the routes guided.

>The maximum guide to participant ratio that we guide in a hike and trek at is 1 guide to 8 participants.
>The maximum guide to participant ratio that we guide in an easy climb at is 1 guide to 3 participants.
>The maximum guide to participant ratio that we guide in a 6000m or technical climb at is 1 guide to 2 participants.
TRANSPORT
Private transport in and around Huaraz. We travel in a 4×4 pickup truck, 15 seat minivan or 29 seat minibus. We travel on a range of roads, from paved road to dusty, windy, bouncy tracks. We can stop whenever you want to take photos or check out the locals.
FOOD
Energy snacks and nutritious meals (5 meals a day – Breakfast, Snacks, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner) are an essential ingredient in helping you perform to your highest standard. Good wholesome meals are provided and plenty of it. Specific dietary requirements are catered for.
WATER
On treks and climbs, our crew will boil all drinking water for you, and supply boiled water for filling drink bottles.
